Trump administration to review goal of world without nuclear weapons

WASHINGTON - The Trump administration will review whether the United States will reaffirm the goal of a world without nuclear weapons as part of its US nuclear policy reassessment, the top White House nuclear policy advisor said on Tuesday. Christopher Ford, the National Security Council’s senior director for weapons of mass destruction and counter-proliferation, told a nuclear policy conference that the Nuclear Policy Review will examine whether “the goal of a world without nuclear weapons is a realistic goal.”
