Trump alternative Johnson vies for Libertarian nomination

Former Republican governor from New Mexico and Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson threw his hat in the ring during a convention in Orlando, Florida where he slammed his Republican and Democratic rivals and called the two-party system "broken."
"I want you all to know that I am not an old white guy. And I am not Republican-light. I am a Libertarian, and I am proud of it," Johnson told his supporters.
"I would like you to make me your presidential nominee. I think we have an opportunity here to change the world, and that is change the world for the better," he said.
Johnson is running as a businessman outsider for president, who vows to cut spending, tackle the nation's immigration problem and stick to conservative fiscal policies.
