US President Donald Trump tweeted on Sunday that “should Iran strike any U.S. person or target, the United States will quickly and fully strike back.”

He added that the US might strike “in a disproportionate manner.”
Trump also included in his tweet that this is one way to notify Congress, he argued that such notifications are not needed "but is given nevertheless."
