Trump's Venezuela envoy says US won't use force to deliver aid

The United States will not use force to deliver humanitarian aid to Venezuela, President Donald Trump's special representative for Venezuela said on Friday, after Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's forces blocked aid convoys at the border last month.
"The United States government has said that we will not use force to deliver that aid, and the Colombian government has said the same thing, so obviously we agree with that view and would not be involved in any actions that would be contrary to that view," the envoy, Elliott Abrams, told reporters.
