Tunisian Islamists confirmed election winners

TUNIS - Tunisia's Islamist Ennahda party won 90 seats in the country's 217-seat constituent assembly, three times the number won by its nearest rival, the chief of the election commission announced on Thursday.
Commission chief Kamel Jandoubi told a media conference the Congress for the Republic, a secularist party, came second in Sunday's election with 30 seats.
