Tunisian police fire teargas to disperse protesters

Tunis - Tunisian police fired teargas in the southern city of Gafsa to disperse hundreds of young men protesting against the Wednesday killing of opposition leader Chokri Belaid, witnesses told Reuters.
"Hundreds protested against the killing of Belaid, but the protest turned into clashes. Police fired teargas while demonstrators threw stones and chanted slogans," Gafsa resident Ahmed Issaoui said on Thursday.
