Turkey taps new ambassador to Israel in first since 'Mavi Marmara' crisis

Turkish President Reccep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday named his country@@@s ambassador to Israel as the full renewal of diplomatic ties between the two countries one step closer.
Turkey@@@s Kemal Ökem was selected to head the embassy in Tel Aviv the day after Eitan Na@@@eh was nominated as Israel@@@s ambassador in Ankara.
Ökem was appointed to the ambassadorship from his current position of foreign policy adviser to Erdogan.
The exchange of ambassador between the two countries will represent the renewal of full diplomatic ties, which ruptured following the 2010 Mavi Marmara incident.
