Turkey's Ambassador to Israel: Relations are back to normal

Following last week's diplomatic rift between Israel and Turkey, the latter's ambassador to the Jewish state told Army Radio on Monday that the relations between the two countries were restored and are back to normal.
"We are back to normal relations,"  Ambassador Kemal Okem said, adding that "there were always disputes but there are also collaborations, and I believe that we will extend our collaborations to other fields."
Last week, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan verbally assaulted Israel, saying that his government would work with the Palestinian people to guard against the "Judiazation of Jerusalem."
"Each day that Jerusalem is under occupation is an insult to us," he added.
His comments were received with outrage in Israel, and a sharply-worded conversation was reportedly had between Okem and Foreign Ministry Driector-General Yuval Rotem.
