Two hurt in Metro Detroit mall shooting

A shooting at a Detroit-area shopping mall may have left two people injured on Saturday, according to police and local media.
The Detroit Free Press newspaper reported the shooting occurred at a Burlington Coat Factory at the Eastland Center in the city of Harper Woods. The newspaper said the mall was evacuated and locked down around 5:50 p.m. local time.
A dispatcher with the Harper Woods Police Department confirmed there was a shooting and said two people were possibly hurt. He said the situation there, some 14 miles (22.5 km) outside of Detroit, did not appear to be ongoing.
