Two Palestinians arrested in connection to Shmerling murder

Two Palestinian residents of Qabatiya were arrested late last week on suspicion of murdering the late Reuven Shmerling of Elkana, who was beaten to death in a building he owned in the industrial zone of Kafr Kasim, some 20 km. east of Tel Aviv, according to the IDF spokesperson's unit.
The findings collected so far over the course of the Shin Bet investigation indicate that the attack was motivated by a nationalistic motive.
Investigation of the suspects continues. The identity of the suspects and the rest of the details of the investigation is subject to a gag order.
