Two rockets explode in South; no casualties, damage

Rocket attacks on Israel continued on Sunday morning as 2 projectiles fired from Gaza exploded in southern Israel: one just south of Ashkelon and one in the Eshkol Regional Council.
The two rockets exploded in open fields causing no casualties or damages, according to Army Radio.
At the same time, red-alert sirens were sounded in Ashdod and the surrounding areas.
Over 100 rockets and mortar shells were fired at Israel this past weekend, and at least 16 Palestinians were killed in IAF strikes on terrorist cells in the Gaza Strip in the largest escalation in violence since last October.
