Two suspects arrested for Rishon Lezion hit-and-run that killed 83-year-old

Two suspects, a father and son, were arrested by RishonLezion police on Tuesday morning, for their alleged role in a deadly hit-and-run accidenton Tuesday that took the life of 83-year-old local man Meir Solomon.
The identities of the two men remain banned frompublication, but police believe the 17-year-old son was the driver and thefather helped him cover his tracks after the accident.
Police managed to find the two men after they received a tipfrom a neighbor who told them that the two were involved in the accident.
Solomon was the caretaker of a synagogue in theneighborhood, and was hit and killed while walking to the house of worship formorning prayers.  
Solomon was one of three people killed Monday in trafficaccidents, including a 55-year-old motorcyclist in Tel Aviv and a 66-year-oldbicyclist hit by a tractor-trailer at the Goral junction outside Be’ersheba.
