UK bans Israel ad featuring Old City

A British advertising watchdog banned an Israeli tourism advertisement featuring the Old City under the pretext of being 'misleading' and suggesting to consumers that the Old City was part of Israel, AFP news reported Wednesday.
The ad featured a juxtaposition of the Old City and Muslim shrine the Dome of the Rock with the modern buildings of western Jerusalem. According to AFP, the ad read: "Everyone falls for the Old City, with its narrow (and car-free) alleys, teeming pilgrims and bazaar-like buzz.."
