UK Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks slammed the notion of making peace with Hamas in a speech he gave to the House of Lords on Wednesday."We, who pray for peace, understand by that word, a state in which I recognize your right to exist, and you recognize mine," Sacks said. "That is what peace minimally means.""How then can we be speaking about peace when Hamas remains committed as a matter of principle to the elimination of the State of Israel?" the rabbi asked.
