U.N. Ambassador Danon calls on all countries to condemn Hamas

Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon called on all countries to condemn Hamas and support The US sponsored resolution, on Sunday.

"Any country that votes against the proposal and does not condemn Hamas should not turn to the UN when it is victimized by terrorism," Danon said. "There is a historic opportunity here, and we expect the countries of the world to join together in as one front against Hamas' terrorism."

The US sponsored a resolution condemning Hamas violence against Israel that is likely to come to a vote before the UN General Assembly in New York on Thursday, diplomatic sources told The Jerusalem Post.
