UN inspecting 7 reported chemical weapons cases in Syria

BEIRUT - UN chemical weapons inspectors in Syria are investigating seven cases of alleged chemical or biological weapons use, including three incidents around Damascus after the Aug. 21 attack which almost triggered US air strikes.
A statement from the United Nations in Damascus on Friday said the team expected to finalize its work in Syria on Monday, and was working on a comprehensive report which it hoped would be ready by late October.
