UN secretary-general condemns rocket-fire from Lebanon, urges restraint

UN Secretary-General on Friday evening condemned the firing of two Katyusha rockets from Lebanon into Israel, according to a Reuters report. Reuters quoted spokeswoman Marie Okabe as saying that Ban urged both sides to exercise restraint. The rockets landed in open fields near the city of Nahariya. No casualties or damage were reported, and the IDF responded by firing some 15 artillery shells towards the source of the fire near the Lebanese city of Tyre. Yaakov Katz contributed to this report
