UNIFIL commander: Both Israel and Lebanon want border calm

Both Israel and Lebanon are opposed to further disturbances along their shared border, the commander of the UNIFIL force said on Thursday according to AFP.
"No-one is interested in an escalation. All parties must strive to maintain the cessation of hostilities," Maj. Gen. Alberto Asarta Cuevas was quoted by AFP as saying.
Asarta met with senior Israeli and Lebanese officers on Wednesday to discuss how to better keep the calm along the border.
