UN's Ban in Ramallah calls for end to 'provocations' at Jerusalem holy sites

Hours after Israeli police forces clashed with rioting Arab demonstrators at Jerusalem's Temple Mount on Monday, UN Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon called for a stop to "provocations" at Jerusalem's holy sites.
"I am... deeply concerned by repeated provocations at the holy sites in Jerusalem. These only inflame tensions and must stop," he said at a joint news conference with Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah in Ramallah, AFP reported.
