Contrary to earlier reports, the man who attacked the US embassy in Tel Aviv on Tuesday did not open fire, but stabbed a guard.Security guards fired warning shots at the shooter, who was subsequently arrested. Paramedics were on the scene.Israel Radio earlier reported, incorrectly, that the attacker opened fire.
