MONTEVIDEO - Health officials in Uruguay opened an investigation into the country's intensive care units on Monday after two male nurses were charged with killing 16 elderly patients.Local media in the small South American nation said police feared the nurses may have killed as many as 200 people by giving them lethal injections of air or morphine, supposedly to end their suffering."We'd describe this as a dramatic situation. (It is) very painful and repugnant to have murderers within a healthcare team," Deputy Public Health Minister Leonel Briozzo told reporters.
