All clear given after US Andrews Air Force Base put on lockdown

The medical center on Andrews Air base is still on lockdown, after an active shooter incident put the complex on alert on Thursday afternoon. An all clear was given for the rest of the base.
CBS reported that an Air Force spokesperson at the Department of Defense confirmed the lockdown, and personnel in the affected area were advised to shelter where they were. It is still unknown as to the nature or context of the incident, and whether there are any casualties.
The huge military site in Maryland is the home of Air Force One.
