US completes probe into Afghan chopper crash

WASHINGTON - The US military has completed its investigation of an August helicopter crash in Afghanistan that killed 30 American troops, the deadliest incident for US forces in the decade-long war, a US military official told Reuters on Wednesday.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the matter has not yet been made public, declined to disclose the conclusions of the investigation. The results of the probe are expected to be released later this week, the official added.
