The United States on Thursday condemned the attack in the Woolwich district of London. In a written statement to the press, Deputy Spokesperson Patrick Ventrell stated: "We stand with our UK allies in the face of such senseless violence.Our thoughts and condolence are with the family of the victim and the British people," Ventrell said.
