The United States has not received an extradition request from Turkey for US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen but the government has indicated it will happen, a State Department official said on Tuesday. 'We still cannot confirm the physical receipt of an extradition request, we're in touch with Turkish officials,' the official told Reuters, adding: 'They have indicated they will hand it over.' Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and his government accuse Gulen of orchestrating a failed military takeover on Friday.
