US House to vote on North Korea sanctions bill

WASHINGTON - US House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan said on Thursday the House would vote on legislation to broaden sanctions against North Korea.
Ryan did not provide a timeline for the vote, but a congressional source said it was expected as soon as Monday.
Reuters reported on Wednesday that Republican House leaders were discussing the long-delayed sanctions bill after North Korea announced that it had tested a powerful nuclear bomb and planned a vote as soon as next week.
