WASHINGTON - The White House on Thursday denounced as "needlessly provocative" threats by North Korea to carry out further rocket launches and a nuclear test.White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters any such action by North Korea would violate UN resolutions and would increase Pyongyang's diplomatic isolation.
