In the shadow of deep US-Israeli diplomatic tension over the Iran nuclear deal, US Secretary of Defense Ash Carter landed in Israel on Sunday night to begin an official visit.
Carter is due to meet with Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon on Monday.
Carter and Ya'alon will hold a joint press conference at the Defense Ministry after a closed door meeting, which is expected to heavily focus on the Iran deal and its implications for Israeli and regional security.
