US Senate majority leader taken to hospital after accident at home

US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid suffered broken ribs and facial bones in an exercising accident at his Nevada home, his office said in a statement on Friday.
Reid, a Democrat, was taken to a hospital in Henderson, Nevada, for treatment after being injured when a piece of exercise equipment broke while he was using it.
His doctors expect him to make a full recovery from injuries and Reid, 75, plans to return to Washington this weekend, the statement said.
