US Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell aims to conclude the impeachment trial against US President Donald Trump “in the coming days,” Reuters reported on Friday night.
The Senate blocked any witness testimony of new documents from being submitted in the trial.
Trump is the third US president in American history to face an impeachment trial, Andrew Johnson faced one in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1998.
