MEXICO CITY - A major 7.9 magnitude earthquake struck near Acapulco on Mexico's Pacific coast, the US Geological Survey said on Tuesday. Earlier it had been reported at 7.6 magnitude.
The quake shook buildings in Mexico City, according to a Reuters witness.
