War planes target Syria's Douma

BEIRUT - War planes targeted the last rebel-held town of Douma near Damascus on Friday, state TV and a war monitor reported, the first air strikes in several days on the enclave.

State TV said rebels with the Jaish al-Islam group had shelled a crossing point out of Douma and a residential area, triggering a response by the air force. There was no immediate comment from the group.
