Water Authority employees held a one day warning strike on Monday to protest internal restructuring and staffing changes, Army Radio and Israel Radio reported.
The union was reportedly unhappy with unilateral steps taken by management. The Water Authority told Israel Radio they had yet to receive any demands from the union.
As a result of the strike, the employees did not measure the water level in Lake Kinneret, did not oversee water demand, and did not issue licenses to farmers, kibbutzim and moshavim.
