Water Authority officials: Leptospirosis still unresolved

Senior officials in the Water Authority and the Nature and Parks Authority warn Monday morning that the recent outbreak of Leptospirosis in the streams in northern Israel is far from over.
The disease cannot be eradicated without removal of cattle from the regions surrounding the streams, officials say, and this large scale project has not yet been approved or funded.
"The problem with Leptospirosis in the streams will not be resolved anytime soon."
