Luba Kazkevich, the 63-year-old manager of Luba's day care in Ramat Gan, was indicted Thursday for allegedly abusing and attacking children in her kindergarten, according to the prosecutor's office. She is also charged with obstruction of justice.
Kazkevich ran a private kindergarten for children between the ages of four months and three years and, repeatedly attacked and abused the children in her care in a number of ways, according to the indictment. Kazkevich pushed, hit, yelled and acted violently towards the children multiple times between 2017 and 2020.
The indictment includes descriptions of Kazevich dragging children across the floor, leaving them tied to chairs and hitting them across the face.
Kazezich "acted in a pattern of abuse" and unleashed her anger on "easy prey, helpless children who could not resist her actions and most of whom could not verbally report the horrors they were experiencing to their parents," said one of the prosecutors.
Kazevich is suspected of attempting to hide the abuse by asking a technician to erase security camera footage of the abuse.
