Beersheba woman murdered in front of three children

A Beersheba woman was shot dead Monday night in front of her three children who were sitting in the back of her vehicle when she was gunned down, Negev subdistrict police said.
Police said officers responding to a call about shots fired on Jerusalem Boulevard in the city arrived at the scene to find the victim sitting in the car seriously wounded with a number of gunshot wounds to her upper body.
Negev police said the three children were handed over to social services and that as of press time they had yet to determine the woman’s identity. Police also stated that the motive for the murder is unclear, though it appears to most likely be criminal and not nationalistic.
Magen David Adom's Shaked Levy said Monday night that when his team arrived at the scene they found a woman who was around 30 years old unconscious without a pulse sitting in a car and that she died not long after she was evacuated from the scene.
A large number of police from the Southern District converged on the scene Monday night and began combing the area for the killer, who by press time had not been caught.
