Women's march organizers welcome budget decision, will continue fight against domestic violence

The women's march protest organizers responded to the government's decision to approve the budget for the prevention of domestic violence on Sunday.
"We welcome the decision, but remember that this is a budget that was approved two years ago and only a small amount has been implemented so far," the women's march organizers said. "We are in an emergency, since the strike two more women have been murdered in the country and 2018 has ended with 26 murdered."
We will continue to keep the issue on the public agenda especially during the election period, and we will have a decisive voice.”
