World Jewish Congress leader condemns Spanish music festival for dropping Matisyahu

The president of the World Jewish Congress on Sunday condemned the organizers of a music festival being held in eastern Spain after they had disinvited prominent American Jewish musician Matisyahu for failing to sign a declareation stating he supported the creation of a Palestinian State.  
In a press statement sent to The Jerusalem Post, Ronald S. Lauder expressed "outrage" and "utter bewilderment" in the wake of  Matisyahu's canceled partcipation in the Rototom Sunsplash festival after activist in the BDS (Boycott, Divestments and Sanctions) movement pressured organizers to drop the performer from the lineup.
