Ya'alon: ICC should probe Palestinian terror groups, not Israel

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon on Saturday evening condemned the International Criminal Court's decision to launch an initial inquiry into possible war crimes allegedly committed by Israel during Operation Protective Edge.
"The Hague Tribunal's decision is hypocritical and outrageous, and gives a boost to terror rather than fighting against it," Ya'alon stated on Facebook.
The defense minister called for the ICC, which sits at the Hague, to investigate "Palestinian terrorism and incitement," noting that Gaza-based terrorist organizations have fired swaths of rockets at Israeli population centers.
He also cited the recent acts of Islamic terrorism in Europe and violence in areas of the Arab world as issues the Hague should investigate instead of what he said was " a democracy that protects itself  and has an independent and objective judiciary system."
