Ya’alon: Our borders are not between states, but between civilizations

“The border ahead of us is not only between countries, it’s also between civilizations,” said Blue and White politician Moshe Ya’alon on Monday near the northern border between Israel and Syria.
“It is the border of hope where it faces evil,” he said as he contrasted the “lush green” landscape in Israel with the “burnt black and bleeding” landscape of Syria.
Ya’alon went on to state his party will “act to install full sovereignty” in the Golan Heights.
