Ya'alon: The Hamas cell planned to murder more Israelis

The Hamas cell arrested in Nablus for the double murder of the Henkin couple plotted more attacks, and planned to murder more Israelis, Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said, praising security forces for the rapid capture.

"Hamas is trying all of the time to carry out terror attacks in various forms. The main orchestration, funding, and training comes, generally, from [Hamas's] Gaza headquarters, which oversees West Bank attacks, and through Salah Arouri, who runs the organization's terror activities from his base in Istanbul. It would be appropriate for the free world not to sweep this reality under the rug," the defense minister added.

"The fight against terrorism requires that we be determined, uncompromising, patient, wise, and exercise good judgement. This is how we act. We have no intention of allowing terror elements to disrupt our lives. We are dealing with bloodthirsty terror organizations that are relentless, and the fight against them, like the reality itself on the ground, is complex and requires that we be patient," Ya'alon said.
