Labor leader Shelly Yachimovich on Wednesday endorsed the candidacy of incumbent Jerusalem mayoral Nir Barkat, and called his challenger, Moshe Lion, a "servant of the corrupt," Israel Radio reported. In response, Lion's staff snubbed Yachimovitch's support of Barkat stating that it demonstrated Barkat's failure in res presenting himself as a Likud man and as a man of the national camp.
