Yacimovich: Good that belated justice done with Olmert sentence

Following the court's decision to sentence prime minister Ehud Olmert to eight months jail in his corruption trial on Monday, MK Shelly Yacimovich (Zionist Union) said that, at the time of Olmert's sentencing, it is important to remember those who he tried to prevent from exposing his corruption: then-state comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss, then-state attorney Moshe Lador and others.
"A defensive shell of sycophants surrounded Olmert on all sides and defended him, and it is good that now, belatedly, justice was done," she added.
