Yacimovich to PM: We will be vigorous opposition party

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu phoned Labor party head Shelly Yacimovich late Thursday to discuss the possibility of a national unity coalition deal, the Labor party said in a press release.
"We intend to be a vigorous opposition against the moves you will make," Yacimovich told Netanyahu. "The public has decided that we must be in the opposition and we will respect this democratic decision."
Yacimovich said she would support the prime minister in any efforts to restart long-stalled peace negotiations with the Palestinians.
