Yesh Atid MK Piron to quit Knesset; Stern to take his place

Shai Piron, the former education minister, is resigning from the Knesset, his Yesh Atid faction announced in a press released on Wednesday.
Piron will be departing parliament in favor of "a senior educational position," the secularist party said.
Elazar Stern, the former army general who served in the previous Knesset, will return to parliament and replace Piron by dint of his position as next in line on the Yesh Atid list.
