Yuli Tamir's email hacked into, letter sent requesting money

Labor MK Yuli Tamir was the victim of an apparent hacking incident on Tuesday, when someone sent a letter from her email account to all of the contacts in her address book, implying that the Oxford University graduate was in England and requesting money. The following is the letter in its original form: How are you today, I am in hurry writing this mail to you, I traveled to United Kingdom yesterday to visit a new Researchers' Complex in London, Imperial College London, Gallery Section, (South Kensington Campus, London SW7 2AZ), England, Unfortunately for me all my money, credit card, diaries and my return ticket was stolen at the hotel where i lodged, i am so confused right now, i don't know what to do or where to go, i didn't bring my phone here and the hotel telephone line's was disconnected during the robbery incident, so i have access to only emails. Please can you send me 1,550 Pounds today so i can return home, As soon as i get home i would refund it immediately. I want you to send it through western union outlet. Write me so i can let you know how to send it (sic). Tamir, who was in the midst of Knesset discussions on the Economic Arrangements Bill when the scam was exposed, filed a complaint with the police, while urging the recipients of the email not to send any funds to the bank account stated in the fraudulent message.
