Zahar: Hamas ready to return to negotiating with Israel

Hamas is ready to return to talks with Israel over a prisoner exchange deal, Hamas official Mahmoud Zahar said in an interview with Palestinian news agency SPA on Tuesday.
On Monday Zahar told Egyptian newspaper Al Ahram that Israeli talk about progress in negotiations over the release of Gilad Schalit  is exaggerated, and intended to divert attention from the harsh actions the state carries out against Palestinian prisoners in its jails.
