The Bazan Group continues to help civilians who have been directly or indirectly affected by the fighting and has increased its assistance budget to NIS 30 million, following its initial aid package of NIS 1.5 million.

The Group will focus its assistance on helping to provide housing solutions for evacuees from the front, mental health assistance, and supporting efforts to maintain the safety of residents and the welfare of the soldiers, both in the standing army and the reserves.

Among the organizations that Bazan will focus its efforts on are NATAL and ARAN, which are working to provide psychological support, and ZAKA, which operates a trained team of volunteer paramedics and search and rescue professionals. Bazan donated detection and rescue equipment to the organization. The Group is also collaborating with the Isrotel hotel chain to host residents from areas of the conflict and is active with other organizations that work together with the security forces.

Community effort in providing large-scale aid

In addition, the workers’ committees at Bazan have volunteered in various activities throughout the country. These efforts are in addition to the supply of the products that the Group currently produces in accordance with the needs of the energy sector.

We shall continue supporting all avenues of the Israeli society, alongside maintaining a continuous supply of energy in Israel.”
