Gabriel Hamani, the manager of Bank Hapoalim branches in the US, meets with US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew Sunday on the sidelines of The Jerusalem Post Conference in New York.
Hamani, who introduced former mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani to the audience, said that Israel has one of the most innovative societies in the world and is the developer of some of the world's most critical technologies that are changing the way we live.
"We are proud of the financial and strategic support we have provided to businesses in Israel, to our government, and to companies in the US and around the world," Hamani said, "as they establish and grow their business operations in our country and elsewhere, and capitalize on the exceptional drive and intellectual capability of our people."
