Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Tuesday revealed that Tel Aviv will become the fourth city to host its Pop-up Loft, after New York, San Francisco and Berlin.The loft, a free working space for people to drink coffee, work, and, of course, learn about Amazon's web hosting services, will open its doors on March 1. It will be located on the Lillienblum street, just a block away from Rothschild Boulevard, and remain open there for three weeks.AWS will also offer live demos and lectures on topics such as the Internet of Things and Machine Learning, as well as technical sessions for budding entrepreneurs.AWS has been fiercely competing with competitors such as Google to attract high-tech businesses building their websites and business applications to use their services.Both companies have major offices in Israel focused on their web platforms.The ability to adjustably scale businesses online and take advantage of cloud computing have made businesses more agile in recent years, and have been particularly attractive to start-ups unsure of how quickly they will grow.
